A lot of you are saying you can't leave a comment b/c you don't have a Google account. There is another option for you called "other". All you have to do is select that option and you just leave your name. You do not have to put anything else in, and you don't have to be a member. You can even be anonymous if you want and leave no info at all. Hope this helps and you people start commenting! ;)

Sunday Soccer

Every Sunday we head to the field for Matt's soccer game. This Sunday were able to drop Kylen off at Matt's parents and I actually got to focus on the game. It is always fun to watch him play & I love being there to cheer him on. I love seeing this other side of him that comes out when he is playing. He is so agressive and loud. I have to admit I kinda like it!
His toes held up pretty well. Although, he did get a blisters because of the bandages on his toes making his shoes tighter. If it's not one thing it's another, but all and all he played through the pain and made it through to the end. Here are some pics from today.

Baby Water Park

Today Kylen and I headed off on a new adventure. We went to a water park that was built for toddlers and young kids. When you get there they even give you a disposable swim diaper as part of your admission, which I thought was a great considering Kylen was free and I was only $5.00!! Once you go in there is a huge pool with a water playground in the center. At the deepest point of the pool it is only 1 1/2 feet so there really is no "deep end". There are also no steps, it just gradually gets deeper. Kylen had sooooooo much fun! I brought his toys and we played in the really shallow end for a while. There were mostly babies his age there, which I thought was nice. They were all sharing their water toys and just playing together as the moms chatted. It didn't take long though before Kylen wanted to walk deeper so he could throw himself under water. So we went and almost drowned but it was all in good fun. I will never get why choking on water is so fun to him but he does it over and over so it must be. Anyways we had a really great day and as you can see from the pic of him in the stroller, he was REALLY tired when we left!
Oh by the way there is also a lazy river and an obstacle course for older kids...we didn't go over there!

THE ISLAND

Here are some pics from our latest trip to the Island!! Kylen has been to this beach at least 5 times in his short life and he loves it! It is a great beach for kids because it has bathrooms,trees(shade), pavilllions and it is never crowded! We just hop on the ferry boat and head over to the Island. These pics are from last week! Enjoy!

HOT PINK TOES!!

As most of you know Matt is soccer player. What you don't know is that his poor toes get destroyed just about every time he plays. They get stubbed, stepped on and squeezed into shoes that are too small...though he says the leather will stretch. Well a few weeks ago his one toe got stepped on turned purple and we thought it would just fall off but it didn't. So he went out like a champ and played again this past Sunday and bruised the other one. So there he was with two big purple toes. The one was starting really look funky so we went to the foot Dr. and they had to cut both of his nails off and drain the liquid out of them. WOW those numbing needles were REALLY big too! He got 4 shots in each toe and let me just say when I say shot I mean a LONG needle that went all the way to the other side of his toe. After watching that I decide to take Kylen outside so we didn't distract the doctor while he removed the nails. Well after all was done Kylen and I went back into the office there was matt with 2 hot pink toes. When I asked why they were pink he said it was the only color the doctor had. I have to say Matt looked mighty cute with 2 big pink toes. Here are some pics of my good patient eating his ice cream and taking it easy. By the way the one of the red spots on Matt's toes are where the numbing needles went in.

WALK AMERICA!

This past Saturday Matt, Kylen and I participated in a 6 mile walk for the March of Dimes. We specifically raised money and walked to save premature babies. When we got there Kylen was so excited to hear the loud music and see so many dogs and children. HE sat in his stroller the whole walk and sang to people as we went by. When we were finished Kylen got a sticker that said "I DID IT "and we put it on his shirt. He was quite a trooper!
